Job summary

JD Sports Indonesia in Samarinda is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales targets, and ensure superb customer service. You will manage the team, schedule shifts, train staff, and maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in retail with at least 1 year in a store-manager role, strong leadership, and a proven ability to develop staff and meet targets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a Store Manager role.
• Strong customer service orientation and proven sales achievement.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts and 5 days a week including public holidays.
• Ability to train and develop store team.

Responsibilities

• Follow weekly briefs and apply to the store while maintaining visual standards.
• Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in-store using visual techniques.
• Ensure new products and promotions are visible and correctly located.
• Build, develop and manage the team; train them and develop their expertise and know-how.
• Develop existing team members and encourage progression within the company.
• Hold regular training meetings to maintain high standards.

• Drive consistency within your internal teams to achieve the highest service levels.
• Following a weekly brief, ensure that this is applied to your store and maintain high visual standards.
• Attract, engage and motivate customers into making purchases in store by using the latest visual techniques.
• Make sure that all new products and advertised product is all visible and in the correct locations.
• Build, develop and manage your team, train them and develop their expertise and know-how
• Develop existing team members and encourage progression within the company.
• Hold regular training meetings within the store, making sure the team around you are able to maintain the high standards required.

Requirement

• At least 6 years of working experience in the retail industry or related field, preferably have experience as a Store Manager with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Possess good customer service, driven to achieve sales targets, strong leadership, & hard worker.
• Have good interpersonal skills, be good at problem-solving, & good at communication.
• Willing to work on shifts
• Ready to work 5 days a week and work on public holidays
