Job summary

Maju Makmur seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead daily retail operations at Saga store, with full responsibility for team management, sales targets, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction in the retail area.

Responsibilities include ensuring SOPs, merchandising, staffing, budgeting, stock control, and resolving escalations while maintaining safety standards. Strong leadership and ability to work shifts, including holidays and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in any field.
• At least 3 years as Store Manager/Store Head in retail.
• Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, POS/HRIS.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, decisive, and target-oriented Store Manager to lead daily retail operations at Saga store. You will have full responsibility for team management, achievement of sales targets, inventory accuracy (inventory control), and customer satisfaction in the retail area.

Key responsibilities

Ensure all daily store activities run according to SOP standards, including cleanliness, display arrangement (merchandising), and cashier readiness

Lead, train, and evaluate the performance of store team (Supervisor, Cashier, Sales Staff, and Warehouse Staff) and manage work schedules (shifts)

Develop strategies for achieving monthly revenue targets, analyze daily sales reports, and control operational cost efficiency

Ensure accuracy of inventory, conduct periodic stock opname, monitor slow-moving/fast-moving items, and minimize shrinkage risk (loss of goods)

Handle advanced-level customer complaints professionally and ensure service excellence standards are applied by all staff

Ensure safety standards, occupational health and safety (K3), and internal operational audits are met

About you

Education: Minimum D3 / S1 in any field (preferably Management, Business, or similar)

Experience: Minimum 3 years as Store Manager / Store Head in Retail industry (Supermarket, Mini Market, or Department Store)

Strong leadership and conflict management skills

Deep understanding of retail display, merchandising, and inventory management (POS/HRIS system)

Ability to analyze sales data and manage daily/monthly budgets

Honest, communicative, target-oriented, and ready to work with shift systems and on holidays/weekends

Preferably domiciled in Jayapura and surrounding areas
