Job summary

PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. is seeking a senior professional to lead end-to-end Site and New Store Development in Jakarta. You will drive acquisitions, design, refurbishments and expansion plans, engaging with tenants and mall operators to secure favorable terms.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in channel development and mall-focused store expansion, with strong English communication and analytical acumen to navigate market trends and deliver growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in channel development / site & store development in a retail company.
• Strong exposure in store expansion experience in malls.
• Good communication in English.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta office, full WFO (Gedong Panjang).
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end site and new store development including site acquisition, design, maintenance, refurbish, and expansion.
• Contact potential tenant developers to arrange meetings and partnerships.
• Develop strategic plans to accelerate store expansion.
• Perform location feasibility studies for outlet expansion.
• Review location proposals from agents, landlords, and mall operators.
• Negotiate rental terms and tenancy renewals.
• Oversee operations to ensure efficiency, quality and cost-effective resource use.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to guide objectives.
• Identify and report on local market trends and requirements.

• Responsible for end to end Site & New Store Development (Site Acquisition, Project Design, Project Maintenance & Refurbish and New Store Development).
• Contacting potential tenant development for area (commercial, office, etc.) to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Developing a strategic plan to advance store expansion.
• To do location Feasibility Study for outlet expansion.
• Looking at all potential location proposal either by Agents, Landlords, and Mall Operators, Licensee and location proposals.
• Rental Negotiation.
• Tenancy Renewal.
• Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
• Identify & report on local market trends & requirements.

Qualifications

• Have an experiences minimum 10 years in channel development / Site & Store Development of retail company.
• Strong exposure in Store expansion experience in Malls.
• Good communication in English
• Good interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical thinking and able to work under pressure
