Job summary

PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. seeks a senior leader in Channel Development and Site & Store Development to drive end-to-end store expansion, site acquisition, and renewal strategies across malls and commercial spaces in Indonesia.

The role involves negotiating rentals, assessing feasibility, coordinating with agents and landlords, and ensuring cost-efficient operations with clear market insights. Jakarta-based with full WFO responsibilities and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in channel development / site & store development for a retail company.
• Strong store expansion experience in malls.
• Good English communication.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, able to work under pressure.
• Willing to be placed in Jakarta office, full WFO.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Site & New Store Development (site acquisition, project design, maintenance & refurbish, and new store development).
• Contact potential tenant developers for area and arrange meetings.
• Develop strategic plan to advance store expansion.
• Conduct location feasibility studies for outlet expansion.
• Evaluate location proposals from agents, landlords, mall operators, and licensees.
• Negotiate rental agreements.
• Manage tenancy renewals.
• Ensure efficient operations, cost-effective resource management, and quality of service.
• Review reports and financial statements to track progress and adjust objectives.
• Identify and report local market trends and requirements.

• Responsible for end to end Site & New Store Development (Site Acquisition, Project Design, Project Maintenance & Refurbish and New Store Development).
• Contacting potential tenant development for area (commercial, office, etc.) to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Developing a strategic plan to advance store expansion.
• To do location Feasibility Study for outlet expansion.
• Looking at all potential location proposal either by Agents, Landlords, and Mall Operators, Licensee and location proposals.
• Rental Negotiation.
• Tenancy Renewal.
• Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
• Identify & report on local market trends & requirements.

Qualifications

• Have an experiences minimum 8-10 years in channel development / Site & Store Development of retail company.
• Strong exposure in Store expansion experience in Malls.
• Good communication in English
• Good interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical thinking and able to work under pressure
• Willing to be place in Jakarta office, full WFO (Gedong Panjang)
