PT Kailan International Indonesia (The Green Party) is aggressively expanding its footprint across Indonesia with a dedicated Retail Business Development role for mall leasing and store openings. This position focuses on acquiring prime spaces, negotiating terms, and overseeing openings, not day-to-day store operations.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Retail Expansion or Mall Leasing, a robust network in Indonesia, and willingness to travel for site surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics or related field.
• Min. 2 years of proven Retail Expansion, Mall Leasing, or Site Acquisition experience.
• Active network with Mall Leasing Managers and GMs in Indonesia.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site surveys across Indonesia.
• Professional English proficiency for management reporting.
• Mandarin speaking ability is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, traffic analysis, and secure strategic retail spaces in potential malls across Indonesia
• Negotiate directly with General Managers and Leasing Managers to obtain optimal rental terms including base rent, revenue share, service charge, and rent-free fit‑out periods
• Calculate business feasibility projections, estimate ROI, payback period, and prepare proposals for central management approval
• Oversee store opening processes from mall permits, technical drawings coordination, to handover of ready-to-operate units
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with major mall developer groups in Indonesia

PT Kailan International Indonesia (The Green Party) is aggressively expanding across Indonesia! We are seeking a result-driven Retail Business Development (Store Expansion) professional to lead our physical store rollouts in prime shopping malls.

CRITICAL NOTE: This is a 100% Site Acquisition, Mall Leasing, and Store Opening role. This position does NOT manage day-to-day store operations or retail store staff.

Key responsibilities

Conduct surveys, traffic analysis, and secure strategic retail spaces in potential malls across Indonesia

Negotiate directly with General Managers and Leasing Managers to obtain optimal rental terms including base rent, revenue share, service charge, and rent-free fit‑out periods

Calculate business feasibility projections, estimate ROI, payback period, and prepare proposals for central management approval

About you

S1 degree in Business, Management, Economics, or related fields (Required)

Minimal 2 years of proven experience in Retail Expansion, Mall Leasing, or Site Acquisition (Required)

Active & robust network with Mall Leasing Managers and Mall GMs in Indonesia (Required)

High mobility and willingness to travel extensively for site surveys across Indonesia (Required)

Professional English proficiency (Required for management reporting)

Mandarin speaking ability is a significant advantage (Preferred)
