Job summary

WIK - ELEKTROGERÄTE Entwicklungs- und Service-GmbH & Co. KG in Indonesia seeks an experienced logistics professional to lead daily inbound material and outbound shipping activities, coordinating import/export, and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will work with SAP WM, liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and drive continuous improvements in cost, accuracy, and compliance while communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, shipping & warehousing and minimum 3 years working experience in the same position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team members to accomplish daily job arrangements for incoming materials from oversea and shipping process & loading of shipments.
• Arrange transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule.
• Review expediting schedules on all customer orders and coordinate with planning and sales teams as required.
• Handle all duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification, verification, drawbacks, and compliance with governmental agencies; review freight rates and liaise with customers and brokers.
• Coordinate imports and exports logistics according to planned schedules, use SAP WM for warehouse management, and provide feedback for system improvements.
• Maintain good communication with Shipping Departments for Finished Goods and Imported Materials delivery against packing lists, liaise with customers and brokers for reporting procedures and valuations.

Your Tasks

• Lead and manage team members to accomplish daily job arrangements for incoming materials from oversea and shipping process & loading of shipments.

• Review of expediting schedules on all customer orders. Obtains and forwards information to planning and sales teams as per customer requirements.
• All duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification, drawbacks, and compliance with governmental agencies. Reviews freight rates: air, courier, and land, liaised with customer for shipping arrangements, with custom brokers for updated reporting procedures and valuations.
• Coordinates imports and exports logistics according to the planned materials receiving and out-going loading schedule for shipment plan. Make well use of the SAP (WM) system for warehouse management and give constructive advice/feedback for enhancing/improving the system.
• Good communication with the H.K. Shipping Departments for the Schedule of Finished Goods and Imported Materials delivery against the packing list, liaised with customer for shipping arrangements, with custom brokers for updated reporting procedures and valuations.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, shipping & warehousing and minimum 3 years working experience in the same position.
• Familiar with shipping process, custom regulation, export, and import regulation is a must, SAP (WM) system, used to do invoices, packing list, certificate of origin and Ceisa. Familiar with customs broker, forwarder or shipping line, have Customs Expert license
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication and problem-solving skills, and able to work under pressure fluent in English reading, speaking and written, solid skill for Microsoft excel.
