Job summary

PT Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera is seeking a capable Backend Python developer to design, develop, and maintain reliable Python-based backend applications. You will craft automation scripts or integration modules for network devices and services, troubleshoot at both application and basic network levels, and document APIs and architecture clearly.

The role requires experience with asynchronous programming, relational and NoSQL databases, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as D3/S1 in Information Technology Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional experience with Python in projects.
• Proficiency with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, async/await).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis/MongoDB) and ORM (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, or WebSockets.
• Experience with unit and integration testing in Python (pytest, unittest).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSH, DHCP, ICMP, OSI model, and basic routing/switching.
• Experience with Git and Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, Docker, and basic orchestration.

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education in Information Technology Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)

Professional experience working with Python code in projects

Proficiency with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask

Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, async/await) and concurrency handling

Experience working with Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis/MongoDB), as well as ORM (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM)

Understanding of creating and consuming RESTful APIs, gRPC, or WebSockets

Experience with unit testing and integration testing in Python (pytest, unittest)

Understanding of basic network architecture and protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSH, DHCP, and ICMP/Ping

Understanding of OSI model and basic routing and switching concepts

Experience using basic network diagnostic and troubleshooting tools (such as ping, traceroute, curl, netstat, dig, or Wireshark)

Experience with Git for version control (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

Experience with Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting (Bash)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic understanding of orchestration (Docker Compose/Kubernetes)

Understanding of basic CI/CD pipeline concepts
