Job summary

Enterprise Digital Technology Services Edts is seeking a backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs, focusing on performance and reliability.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions, implement RESTful services, and contribute to secure coding practices. On-site at Wisma 46, Jakarta Pusat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience focusing on efficient backend development.
• Proficiency in Java (mandatory) or Go; ability to dive deep across backend services.
• RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus.
• Secure coding practices and ownership of code quality.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and Git version control.

Person we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in efficient backend development
• Proficiency in Java (is a must), or Go- Ability to dive deep and work across backend services, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
• RESTful API design and development
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a Plus
• Secure coding standard
• Eagerness to continuously learn whether it’s technology-related, product-related, or beyond
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both the product(s) and assigned tasks- Version control using Git
• CI/CD pipeline experience testing and performance optimization
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
