Job summary

PT VPower Operation Services is seeking a Site Manager in the Operations Department to monitor all power plant operations, ensure staff safety, and coordinate generators, transformers, control panels, fuel systems, and other auxiliary equipment. The role requires direct communication with clients, supervisors, PLN, and other industrial clients regarding plant operations and technical matters.

You will oversee daily reporting, maintenance planning, and efficiency improvements, and reside in Batam

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Maintenance skill.
• Troubleshooting capability.
• Capable of managing and motivating teams to reach performance goals.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff to work safely and remind staff of risks in power plant work.
• Coordinate power plant operating systems, including generators, transformers, LV/MV control panels, fuel systems, and staff.
• Provide training lessons for power plant staff through training agendas and briefings every working day.
• Communicate with clients, direct superiors, PLN, industrial clients, and the consortium regarding plant operations and technicalities.
• Make daily and monthly operating reports, prepare kWh data and fuel information for billing, and prepare maintenance reports for the commercial department and the HQ team.
• Solve complex technical problems and implement new ideas to increase efficiency.
• Monitor engine and power plant maintenance processes and plan maintenance schedules according to machine running hours and specifications.
• Calculate and plan machine spare parts needs and auxiliaries annually based on daily machine operation hours.
• Communicate and monitor with logistics staff, procurement, and the HQ team regarding parts ordering.
• Monitor purchase requests for power plant needs.
• Reside in Batam or be willing to be placed at Tanjung Uncang, Batam.

Monitor and coordinate power plant operating systems, including generators, transformers, LV, MV control panels, fuel systems, and all power plant staff

Provide training lessons for power plant staff through training agendas and briefings every working day

Communicate with clients, direct superiors, PLN, industrial clients, and the consortium regarding plant operations and technicalities

Make daily and monthly operating reports, prepare kWh data and fuel information for billing, and prepare maintenance reports for the commercial department and the HQ team.
