Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Coal-Fired Power Plant Supervisor to oversee operations and maintenance, coordinating with PLN and service providers, monitoring production, outages, and reporting on performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, has at least 2 years of coal-fired plant experience, and demonstrates strong communication and English skills along with solid computer literacy for procedure development and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a coal-fired power plant or similar industry.
• Strong understanding of power plant operations and maintenance.

• Experience with procedure development, presentation materials, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and coordinate with PLN and service providers on work procedures, plant modifications, spare parts, outage management, operator reports, and related matters.
• Report, update, and follow up on production matters, outages, and unit disturbances.
• Support and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports, including production reports.
• Provide occasional support for insurance renewal processes related to plant operations and maintenance.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the department and company management.

Job description

The Coal-Fired Power Plant Supervisor role supports the effective oversight of power plant operations and maintenance activities. The position coordinates with PLN and external service providers, monitors production and outages, follows up on operational issues, and prepares regular reports to support plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and coordinate with PLN and service providers under the Operations & Maintenance Agreement on work procedures, plant modifications, spare parts, outage management, operator reports, and related matters

• Report, update, and follow up on production matters, outages, and unit disturbances

• Support and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports, including production reports

• Provide occasional support for insurance renewal processes related to plant operations and maintenance

• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the department and company management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a coal-fired power plant or a similar industry, with a strong understanding of power plant processes

• Knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance practices, and contracts

• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in English and strong computer literacy

• Working knowledge of procedure development, presentation material preparation, and reporting

• Enthusiasm for learning with strong attention to detail
