Job summary

Pt Perindustrian Sawit Synergi is seeking a hands-on Power Plant Maintenance Reliability Engineer/Plant Maintenance Technician to support on-site operations in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and execute repairs across mechanical and electrical systems to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a strong technical background, experience with industrial machinery, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plant Maintenance Technician or similar industrial maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery.
• Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in maintenance.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in an East Kalimantan context.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures.
• Perform welding, fabricating, and pipefitting tasks as required for repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime.
