Job summary

Rentaved is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction delivery for hospitality developments in Nuanu, Bali. This hands-on, owner-side role coordinates contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure work is completed safely, to the required quality, and in line with approved drawings, specifications, programme, and project requirements.

The role focuses on plan-driven site delivery, programme management, and strict safety and quality controls, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction experience with site execution and multi-contractor coordination.
• Hospitality project experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction delivery for our hospitality developments in Nuanu, Bali.

This is a hands-on, owner-side role. You’ll coordinate contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure work is completed safely, to the required quality, and in line with the approved drawings, specifications, programme, and project requirements.

Primary deliverable: well-coordinated, compliant site work completed to the approved design, quality standards, and agreed schedule.

Key responsibilities

Site Delivery: Plan and coordinate daily construction activities, resources, and contractor work across the site.

Programme Management: Monitor progress against the project schedule, identify delays and dependencies early, and drive corrective actions.

Contractor Coordination: Brief contractors and subcontractors, monitor performance, resolve site issues, and follow work through to completion.

Quality Control: Inspect completed and ongoing work against approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements; record and follow up on defects.

Drawing and RFI Coordination: Ensure site teams are working from current approved drawings; coordinate technical queries and resolve design issues with the relevant consultants.

Health and Safety: Maintain safe site practices and ensure contractors follow applicable safety requirements.

Progress and Documentation: Keep accurate site records, daily reports, inspection records, progress updates, and action lists.

Change and Issue Management: Track site changes, variations, risks, and outstanding decisions; assess their impact on time, quality, and cost.

Handover: Coordinate testing, inspections, defect resolution, and handover documentation to support a complete project closeout.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience: 8+ years of construction experience, including substantial responsibility for managing site execution and coordinating multiple contractors or trades.

Hospitality Experience: Experience in hotels, resorts, luxury residential, or other high-end hospitality projects is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills: Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, work programmes, and method statements.

Site Leadership: Proven ability to coordinate contractors, manage site priorities, solve problems, and drive work to completion.

Quality and Safety: Strong understanding of construction quality control, site inspections, defect management, and health and safety practices.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Indonesian building regulations, SNI requirements, permits, and the local contractor market.

Documentation: Systematic approach to progress reporting, site records, RFIs, changes, inspections, and action tracking.

Communication: Bahasa Indonesia is essential; working English is required to coordinate with international leadership and local teams.

Tools: Proficiency with construction documentation and project tracking tools; experience with AutoCAD, BIM, or project scheduling software is an advantage.
