Job summary

PT Medco Power Energi Services (MPES) seeks an Occupational Health Specialist to lead on-site health services in Kupang, NTT. The role covers medical checkups, preventive and curative care, and risk assessments to ensure workplace safety.

Ideal candidates hold a medical degree with Hyperkes certification, at least 1 year in industrial health, and are willing to relocate to Kupang with no roster schedule.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required; bachelor’s minimum, doctoral studies preferred.
• Hyperkes Occupational Health Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial or occupational health.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Willing to relocate to Kupang, Indonesia; local talent welcome.
• Willing to work with no roster working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical checkups and health assessments for employees.
• Deliver preventive, promotive, and curative medical services.
• Identify and assess occupational health risks and potential workplace hazards.
• Administer first aid and emergency medical treatments as needed.
• Oversee and manage on-site health facilities, including first aid posts and clinics.
• Lead the implementation of Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene (OHIH) programs.
• Collaborate closely on health-related compliance and quality assurance activities.
• Provide medical leadership and support across multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare reports and contribute to the continuous improvement of OHIH management systems.

Requirements :

• Medical degree (Bachelor’s minimum, doctoral studies preferred).
• Certified in Hyperkes (Occupational Health Certification).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in industrial or occupational health settings.
• Strong interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to medical accuracy and workplace safety.
• Good understanding of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
