Job summary

Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. seeks a Paramedic Staff to provide emergency medical care and pre-hospital treatment for employees at the Bati-Bati facility in Kalimantan Selatan.

You will respond to emergencies, assess conditions, perform first aid, and support health and safety initiatives. You will operate medical equipment, transport patients as needed, document care, and contribute to occupational health programs with internal teams and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Paramedical Science.
• Valid Paramedic license/certification in Indonesia.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic or in an EMS setting, preferably industrial or corporate.
• Proficiency in first aid, BLS, and ACLS techniques.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift/move patients and equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, accidents, and illnesses within company premises.
• Assess patient conditions, administer first aid, and provide advanced life support as required (CPR, wound care, medications).
• Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment (defibrillators, oxygen, stretchers).
• Transport injured or ill employees to medical facilities with ongoing care.
• Document all patient care activities and medical histories accurately.
• Maintain a clean, stocked infirmary or clinic.
• Assist in health and safety programs and emergency plans.
• Conduct regular health checks and employee screenings as part of occupational health initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal health and safety teams and external medical professionals.
