Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a results-driven freight forwarding sales professional to drive air freight activities and achieve business targets, collaborating across teams and markets.

You will reserve cargo space, identify new customers, negotiate rates, and ensure service quality across export/import air shipments, while supporting sales and marketing strategies and adhering to MK3L/QHSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from Air Transport, Logistics or related major.
• Fresh graduates or min. 1 year experience in freight forwarding company.
• Good understanding of export and import processes, including basic procedures for domestic and international shipments by air.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, airlines, shipping lines, and internal teams.
• Understand the implementation of MK3L and QHSE aspect.

General Responsibilities

1. 1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. 2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. 3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. 4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
