Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a Production Operator to perform field activities and DCS operator duties during shifts, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in line with INEOS safety principles.

The role requires a chemical engineering diploma, willingness to work various shifts, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Training will cover PTW, JSA, and asset care responsibilities within a petrochemical setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in chemical engineering.
• Fresh graduate or 2–3 years' experience as a production operator in a petrochemical company or related field.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow SHE policies and manage safety-related tasks, including PTW and JSA.
• Coordinate with maintenance and contractors to ensure safe task execution.
• Operate DCS to regulate process variables and maintain operation efficiency.
• Conduct field patrols, sampling, housekeeping, and asset care on shift.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown, and normal operation with shift teams.
• Report abnormalities and suggest process improvements.
