Job summary

INEOS Aromatics in Indonesia is seeking a DCS operator to maintain safe, reliable plant operation on shift. You will monitor process conditions, adjust controls, and collaborate with maintenance and field teams to meet production targets.

The role requires adherence to INEOS safety principles, rigorous documentation, and proactive participation in process improvement initiatives. Fresh graduates or operators with 2–3 years' experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in chemical engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduate or 2-3 years as production operator preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and records.

Responsibilities

• Operate DCS to regulate process variables and coordinate with shift operators.
• Ensure safety by following IGGN’s, INEOS 20 Safety Principles and life-saving rules.
• Prepare permits to work and maintain documentation for SHE procedures.
• Conduct field patrols, samples, housekeeping and report deviations to shift supervisor.
• Coordinate startup/shutdown with shift supervisors and field operators.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
