Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a DCS Operator to perform routine field activities and operate DCS during shifts to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in Merak, Indonesia.

Responsibilities include SHE management, permit to work, process parameter control, and daily logbook maintenance, with close coordination with maintenance and field teams. Fresh graduates or 2-3 years in petrochemical production are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate DCS console during shifts to maintain safe, reliable production.
• Conduct field patrols and sample collection; monitor process parameters.
• Prepare permits to work and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and field operators to minimize deviations.
