Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a production operator to conduct routine field activities and DCS operation during shifts, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant performance. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to INEOS 20 Safety Principles, and collaboration with maintenance and field teams.

The ideal candidate is a diploma holder in chemical engineering or a fresh graduate with 2–3 years of petrochemical experience, capable of handling multiple shifts, basic data entry, and teamwork to meet

Qualifications

Graduates or 2–3 years of production operator experience in a petrochemical setting is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork are essential for shift operations.
Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to plant routines.

Responsibilities

Operate DCS and monitor process variables to keep units within operating limits.
Coordinate with maintenance and field operators to ensure safe execution of tasks.
Prepare permits to work and ensure compliance with safety rules.
Conduct field patrols, sample taking, and housekeeping during shifts.
Monitor product quality and report deviations to shift supervisor.
Participate in asset care activities and start/stop sequences as procedures dictate.
Prepare safety checklists, JSAs, and assist in safety audits.
