Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a DCS Operator to join the shift-based operations team. You will conduct field activities and operate the DCS to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production of PTA/PX, complying with safety rules.

You will collaborate with maintenance crews, ensure proper documentation, and uphold INEOS safety principles while supporting continuous improvement in the plant process. This role focuses on safety, discipline, teamwork, and adherence to procedures to sustain reliable

Qualifications

• Diploma in chemical engineering or higher.
• Fresh graduate or 2–3 years petrochemical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Shift flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shift field activity and DCS operator duties to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Prepare permits and maintain safety procedures.
• Monitor process parameters and log data; report deviations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and contractors to complete tasks safely.
• Support asset care and start/stop operations according to procedures.
