Job summary

INEOS Aromatics is seeking a DCS operator to support shift-based operation of the PTA and PX processes. You will monitor DCS trends, adjust process variables, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production. The role emphasizes adherence to safety principles and life-saving rules in a large petrochemical facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in chemical engineering.
• Fresh graduate or 2-3 years as production operator in petrochemical is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operation unit routine field activity and DCS operator activity during shift.
• Ensure SHE management policy and life-saving rules are followed.
• Maintain unit operation within NOL, SOL and SDL limits.
• Prepare JSA, weekly safety checklists and safety observations.
• Prepare and control permit to work (PTW).
• Coordinate start-up and shutdown with Shift Supervisors and field operators.
• Monitor process parameters and coordinate with maintenance and contractors.
