Job summary

Flocqua in Indonesia seeks an experienced Water & Wastewater Process Engineer to lead design and execution of water and wastewater treatment consultancy and EPC projects. You will develop process designs, perform simulations and calculations, review PFDs and P&IDs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

Travel across Indonesia is expected. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in water/wastewater process design, strong analytical skills,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment design.
Strong understanding of physical, chemical and biological wastewater processes.
Knowledge of biological treatment, membrane technologies, sludge handling, and advanced treatment.
Ability to prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, and design criteria.
Proven experience with PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and treatment system design.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Develop and review process designs for water and wastewater systems.
Prepare process calculations, design criteria, PFDs and P&IDs.
Select, evaluate, and optimize treatment technologies.
Prepare equipment specs and technical datasheets.
Perform process simulations, hydraulic and mass balances, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with MEP, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and start-up.
Participate in client meetings and present technical solutions.
Contribute to proposals and project documentation.
Continuously improve engineering methods, standards, and solutions.
Willingness to travel to project sites across Indonesia.
