Job summary

Obayashi-Wijaya Karya-Jaya Konstruksi-JFE Engineering Joint Venture in Jakarta seeks a Commissioning Engineer to lead the wastewater treatment plant startup and ensure a safe, smooth handover from construction to operations.

You will develop commissioning plans, supervise pre-commissioning, conduct performance tests, and coordinate with vendors for equipment start-up while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations and international standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, chemical, environmental engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in commissioning of water/wastewater facilities or similar projects.
• Familiar with ISO, ASME, API standards and Indonesian regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules and procedures.
• Supervise pre-commissioning activities and performance verification.
• Coordinate SAT with vendors and subcontractors for start-up.
• Maintain detailed commissioning documentation and records.
• Deliver training for operations and handover to client teams.
