Biofront Commodities in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a Senior Trading Operations Executive to lead the end-to-end execution of physical trades and coordinate shipments across vessels, tanks, and containers.

You will work with traders, suppliers, customers and finance to ensure timely settlements, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, growing bio-based feedstock trading environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical commodity trading operations.
• Experience in oils, biofuels or related markets preferred.
• Strong understanding of international trade documentation and Incoterms.
• Familiarity with bulk vessel, tank, flexitank, isotank or containerised shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational execution of physical trades from contract confirmation to final settlement
• Coordinate vessel, bulk, flexitank, isotank, road tanker and container shipments
• Monitor loading schedules, nominations, laycans, and deadlines
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, terminals, surveyors, and shipping agents
• Prepare and review shipping documents including bills of lading and certificates
• Track shipment progress and resolve delays or discrepancies
• Coordinate with finance on invoicing, payments, and LC documents
• Maintain accurate trade records and provide updates to traders and management
• Support compliance with regulatory and sustainability requirements
