Job summary

Sika Indonesia is expanding its East Java team and seeks a Senior Technical Sales Engineer for Retail-focused growth. You will develop the retail and trade coverage, search for project opportunities, and manage developers, contractors and distributors.

You will present technical solutions aligned with customer specs and negotiate terms to close deals. Ideal candidates have a civil/architectural/industrial engineering background, at least 3 years in construction sales, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Must have a background in Retail.
• Advantage: Building Materials and/or Residential Project Sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Develop Retail and Trade in East Java, expanding sales coverage in residential projects.
• Project Acquisition: Identify new project pipelines and construction stages; address market gaps in residential projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, and distributors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive new residential market through cross-selling with product teams.
• Technical Consultation: Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate product specs to clients.
• Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and product specifications to secure deals.
• References: Build residential project references to accelerate growth in the retail segment.

• Business Development: Develop the Retail and Trade Business in East Java, focusing on expanding sales coverage in the residential project sector.
