Job summary

Reporting to the Steward & Hygiene Manager, you will supervise steward ambassadors, manage inventories and equipment, coordinate with engineering for maintenance, and support training, scheduling, and operational reporting to match business volume and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive experience in Stewarding or Kitchen operations within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong HACCP, food safety regulations, hygiene standards and chemical handling procedures
• Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality operational systems
• Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily stewarding operations across outlets and kitchens
• Supervise Steward Ambassadors and maintain grooming, attendance and operational standards
• Ensure high cleanliness, hygiene and HACCP compliance in kitchens and dishwashing areas
• Manage inventory, issuance and proper handling of equipment, conducting regular stock takes
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for repair and upkeep of stewarding equipment
• Oversee chemical usage, storage, and economical consumption of cleaning agents
• Assist in staff training programs, safety briefings and skills development
• Assist in preparing operational reports, staff schedules and duty rosters
• Handle equipment requests and operational coordination during banquets, events and high-occupancy periods
• Maintain cross-departmental communication with Culinary, F&B Service and Engineering teams
