PT Infiniti Marine is seeking a Senior Shipping Logistic to join our operations team in Batam. This contract role requires deep experience in shipping logistics, import/export operations and customs coordination across Southeast Asia.

You will oversee vessel scheduling, documentation and compliance while driving cost-efficient logistics solutions. Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in the field, fluent English, strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple shipments with stakeholders

About the role

PT. Infiniti Marine is seeking an experienced Senior Shipping Logistic professional to join our operations team in Batam, Kota, Riau Islands. This is a contract position that plays a pivotal role in managing our shipping and logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination of import/export activities and customs compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing complex logistics operations, maintaining regulatory adherence, and driving operational excellence across our maritime supply chain. This role is essential to maintaining PT. Infiniti Marine's reputation as a reliable logistics partner in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing and coordinating all shipping logistics operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling and port management
• Managing import/export documentation and ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and international shipping standards
• Liaising with customs authorities, port operators, shipping agents and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo clearance and movement
• Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to clients and internal teams regarding cargo location and estimated delivery times
• Optimising shipping routes and logistics processes to reduce costs whilst maintaining service quality and delivery schedules
• Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, bills of lading, commercial invoices and customs declarations
• Managing relationships with freight forwarders, carriers and logistics service providers to ensure competitive rates and reliable service
• Resolving logistics issues and delays, including damage claims, documentation discrepancies and customs hold-ups
• Supervising junior logistics staff and providing guidance on best practices in shipping and customs procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of all shipments, costs and logistics metrics for reporting and analysis

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in shipping logistics, import/export operations or customs brokerage
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations and trade compliance requirements
• Proven expertise in managing complex import/export documentation and customs clearance processes
• Strong understanding of maritime industry practices, port operations and logistics networks in Southeast Asia
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); Indonesian language skills are highly advantageous
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor and supervise team members
• Certification in customs brokerage, shipping logistics or related field is preferred
