• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Knowledge of air freight, sea freight, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, customs-related documents, and shipment reports.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate import and export shipments while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Work closely with customers to provide shipment updates and operational support.
• Verify freight invoices, shipping documents, and operational records for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records in the company's operating systems and databases.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information, with immediate dismissal as a consequence of any integrity breaches.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Operations Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of freight processes, excellent coordination skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily air freight, sea freight, and logistics operations.

Liaise with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, customs-related documents, and shipment reports.

Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure on-time delivery.

Coordinate import and export shipments while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Work closely with customers to provide shipment updates and operational support.

Verify freight invoices, shipping documents, and operational records for accuracy.

Maintain accurate records in the company's operating systems and databases.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operational activities.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.

Support Control Tower 24/7 for time-critical shipments including participate in duty rotations within the Control Tower, ensuring seamless customer operations.

Be available on call during off-duty hours to ensure operational continuity.

Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information, with immediate dismissal as a consequence of any integrity breaches.

Carry out any additional duties as may be required for a role of this level, or upon instructions from the management.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations.

Sound knowledge of air freight, sea freight, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation.

Familiarity with customs clearance processes will be an advantage.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
