Job summary

RGE is seeking a QC Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily QC activities, supervise instrumentation, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, calibration oversight, and staff development.

You will drive continuous improvement in testing accuracy and efficiency while maintaining rigorous quality control standards in the palm oil refining sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of QC laboratory experience.
• Experience with NIRS/HPLC and GC-MS/ICP-MS.
• Experience implementing ISO 17025.
• Strong data management and statistics skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC laboratory instruments activities, verify test results, data analysis and report preparation.
• Oversee instrument operation, calibration, verification, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO/IEC 17025 principles where applicable, safety requirements, and quality management procedures.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate QC laboratory personnel for technical competency and productivity.
• Prepare laboratory performance reports, maintain calibration records, support audits, and drive continuous improvement.
