Job summary

PT Interpak Industries Batam is seeking a QA/QC supervisor to oversee QC/inspector staff in the field or laboratory and ensure consistent inspection processes across raw materials, production, and finished products. You will lead QA/QC activities and drive the implementation of ISO 9001 in operations.

The role requires 2–5 years in QA/QC or supervisory positions, with a solid understanding of ISO 9001, statistical methods, and quality testing procedures, plus strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK with experience, or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of work experience in QA/QC or supervisory positions.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards, statistical methods and quality testing procedures.
• Leadership capability, analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise QC/inspector staff in the field or laboratory.
• Ensure inspection processes for raw materials, production processes, and finished products run consistently.
• Ensure quality management systems (ISO 9001) are properly applied in operations.
• Process non-conformance reports, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions.
• Ensure quality documentation is recorded safely and neatly, and assist with internal and external audits.
• Act as a communication link between production, management, and third parties for external inspections.
