Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Commercial Manager – Proposals to lead high-quality commercial proposals, tenders, and bid submissions in Jakarta. You will blend technical insight with commercial acumen to drive growth and respond to customer requirements.

In this role, you will coordinate with sales, operations, engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain teams to craft competitive solutions, support NOC/IOC engagements, and continuously improve proposal processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in Drilling Fluids or equivalent sector.
• 2–3 years in proposal development, tender management, or commercial operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial proposal development and tendering processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals, commercial submissions and mega-tenders to grow business.
• Ensure deals deliver shareholder value with competitive pricing.
• Prepare materials and support bid reviews, customer presentations and discussions.
• Coordinate tender documentation to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Manage products and systems requiring tech understanding of customer environments.
• Conduct analyses to adapt sales strategies to client conditions.
• Lead cross-functional programs and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, engineering, finance, legal and supply chain teams to craft winning solutions.
