Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group in Singapore with a global footprint including Esco Bintan in Indonesia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead manufacturing projects. You’ll define objectives, assign teams, study specifications, run tests, and manage schedules and costs to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 5 years in manufacturing or engineering management, plus strong English communication and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to manufacturing, e.g. Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Good English communication skills.
• Understanding of requirements analysis, process improvement, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Strong documentation skills and safety management.
• Experience with project scheduling/planning software like MS Project and monday.com preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.

Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.

Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.

Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.

Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.

Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.

Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintains project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.

Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering major related to manufacturing, such as Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.

Have a good English communication skill.

Understand about requirements analysis, process improvement, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures.

Good technical understanding, documentation skills, and safety management.

Has experience with any project scheduling/planning software, MS Project and monday.com will be preferred.
