Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group in Singapore-based HQ is expanding with a Project Engineer role in Bintan, Indonesia. You will lead project objectives, assign teams, and ensure product and process compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 5 years in manufacturing or engineering management, with strong English communication and hands-on scheduling software experience (MS Project, monday.com).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to manufacturing (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, process improvement, project management, and manufacturing methods.
• Good technical understanding, documentation, and safety management.
• Experience with scheduling/planning software such as MS Project and monday.com.

Responsibilities

Direct Manager: Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
• Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering major related to manufacturing, such as Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Have a good English communication skill.
• Understand about requirements analysis, process improvement, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Good technical understanding, documentation skills, and safety management.
• Has experience with any project scheduling/planning software, MS Project and monday.com will be preferred.
