Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group is seeking a Project Engineer to drive manufacturing projects and collaborate with management to set objectives and allocate resources. You will ensure design and testing meet performance standards and maintain project documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least five years in manufacturing or engineering management, plus strong English communication and project scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to manufacturing (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Good English communication skills.
• Understanding of requirements analysis, process improvement, and project management methods.
• Strong technical understanding with documentation skills and safety management.
• Experience with project scheduling/planning software; MS Project and monday.com preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans with management.
• Determines project responsibilities by identifying phases and assigning personnel.
• Determines specifications by studying design, requirements, and performance standards; prepares cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project schedule by studying plans and sequencing elements.
• Maintains schedule by monitoring progress and coordinating activities.
• Controls plan by reviewing design, schedule changes; recommends actions.
• Controls costs by approving expenditures and contractor contracts.
• Prepares status reports by analyzing data and trends; recommends actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.
• Maintains project database by writing programs and backing up data.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.

• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
• Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering major related to manufacturing, such as Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Have a good English communication skill.
• Understand about requirements analysis, process improvement, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Good technical understanding, documentation skills, and safety management.
• Has experience with any project scheduling/planning software, MS Project and monday.com will be preferred.
