Pengiklan Anonim seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead the production management and overall plant operations at its precision spring facility in Batam, Indonesia. The role requires strategic vision paired with hands-on leadership to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient production.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in metalworking manufacturing, strong English communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvements and Kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Production Manager/Plant Manager in metalworking or metal processing manufacturing.
• Business-level English proficiency for internal communication with management.
• Strong work ethic and leadership to manage and mentor staff.
• Ability to maintain strict schedule and progress reporting to targets.
• Experience with Japanese manufacturing methodologies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Formulate production plans and oversee overall schedule for the factory.
• Monitor shop floor progress and implement risk mitigation to avoid delays.
• Control production costs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guide, supervise, evaluate, and motivate local operators and subordinates.
• Provide regular operational and progress reports to executive management.
