Job summary

GoTo Group is seeking a Senior People Analytics Specialist to turn people data into insights, guiding leaders on the why behind the numbers and translating findings into actionable recommendations for the people strategy.

You will bridge People, Data, and Business, collaborating with TA, L&D, and Total Rewards to solve workforce challenges, maintain HRIS data integrity, and craft compelling narratives for executives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of data analysis experience, ideally in an HR context.
• Deep understanding of HR metrics, talent lifecycles and employee engagement frameworks.
• Adept in SQL: write clean queries, joins and aggregations to extract data from a Data Warehouse.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) including INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables.
• Analytical mindset and curiosity about the why behind data trends.
• Data storytelling: present technical data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect people insights with business priorities.
• High discretion and judgment when handling confidential people data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workforce metrics (retention, engagement, hiring, diversity, performance) to identify trends and opportunities.
• Uncover root causes behind attrition spikes and hiring bottlenecks.
• Structure and maintain headcount dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
• Translate raw talent data into digestible insights and executive summaries for HRBPs and leaders.
• Collaborate with HR teams (TA, L&D, Total Rewards) to define data-driven solutions.
• Query and extract data efficiently using SQL and spreadsheets.
• Ensure data privacy, governance, and confidentiality across HRIS.
• Audit and maintain data accuracy across HRIS systems.
