Job summary

Indonesia Defence Services is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing. You will work with HR and Finance in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate salaries, allowances, deductions, and timely tax and BPJS reporting using Talenta.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in HR or accounting and 4–5 years of payroll experience with HRIS, strong Excel skills, and thorough knowledge of PPh 21 and BPJS regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field.
• 4–5 years of end-to-end payroll experience with HRIS (Talenta, SAP). Proficiency in Talenta is a plus.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data formatting.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, PPh 21, and BPJS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll using Talenta; calculate salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
• Coordinate with HR for hires, resignations, promotions, and updates.
• Prepare payroll summaries and reports for Finance; perform reconciliation tasks.
• Calculate and report PPh 21 for employees with supervision.
• Submit monthly tax and BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan reports to relevant departments.
• Ensure data updates in HRIS within 2 working days after changes.
• Process monthly medical and transport reimbursements as scheduled.
• Assist with insurance enrollments and employee benefits processing.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to reimbursements and benefits.
• Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance.
