Job summary

Indonesia Defence Services is looking for a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing using Talenta and HRIS. You will ensure accurate salaries, overtime, deductions, and benefits while upholding confidentiality.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance to prepare payroll summaries and reports, handle PPh 21 and BPJS submissions, reimbursements, and maintain compliant payroll data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field.
• 4–5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll using an HRIS system.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, PPh 21, and BPJS regulations.
• Brevet A & B Tax Certificate is mandatory.
• Excellent organizational and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll using Talenta, ensure accurate calculations of salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
• Coordinate with HR for updates (new hires, resignations, promotions).
• Prepare payroll summaries and reports for Finance, including reconciliation tasks.
• Report PPh 21 and BPJS monthly with supervision as needed.
• Submit and document monthly tax and BPJS reports to relevant departments or consultants.
• Ensure statutory deductions and payments are processed on time.
• Process monthly medical and transport reimbursements per schedule.
• Assist with insurance enrollments and employee benefit claims processing.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to reimbursements and benefits.
• Maintain accurate payroll-related data in HRIS, including onboarding/offboarding and salary changes.
• Ensure data updates are completed within 2 working days after changes occur.
• Assist in preparing standard payroll and benefit reports.
• Support documentation during audits and ensure payroll policies are followed.
• Help collect salary and benefit information from recruitment data or market sources.
• Help compile findings for supervisor review.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
