Job summary

PT Tizar Tirzia Trizardi seeks an experienced mining Business Development professional to identify and pursue new opportunities, conduct market research, and prepare investment recommendations for senior leadership.

The role requires strong financial acumen, contract negotiations, and deep knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations. You will build strategic partnerships and represent the company at industry events while supporting long-term growth initiatives in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in mining business development, mining operations or related roles within the resources and energy sector.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and developing new mining business opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of mining operations, project evaluation and feasibility assessment methodologies.
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex financial models and investment scenarios.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts and managing strategic partnerships.
• In-depth understanding of mining industry regulations, compliance requirements and environmental standards in Indonesia.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Indonesian languages, both written and verbal.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Experience with mining projects in Southeast Asia or Indonesia is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of exploration, extraction and mine development processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and pursue new mining business opportunities and partnerships that align with company strategy and objectives
• Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies to assess potential mining projects and ventures
• Develop and present business proposals and investment recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, suppliers, government agencies and industry stakeholders
• Lead negotiations for new contracts, joint ventures and operational agreements within the mining sector
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new business initiatives
• Prepare detailed business plans, financial projections and strategic reports for senior leadership
• Support the development of long-term growth strategies for mining operations
• Manage stakeholder relationships and represent the company at industry events and forums
