The role requires 8-10 years in mining ops, 3-5 years in management, a Mining Engineering degree, POP/POM certification, and strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management in contractor-based environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Valid POP or POM mining certification mandatory.
• 8–10 years in mining operations with 3–5 years in management.
• Experience leading large-scale contractor-based mining projects.
• English proficiency for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of greenfield mining projects, including road and jetty development.
• Oversee daily mining operations: scheduling, pit development, fleet utilization, and manpower.
• Optimize fleet matching, equipment ratios, and budgeting to maximise productivity.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering, logistics, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Monitor milestones, progress, and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and mining regulations.
• Prepare operational and financial reports on production performance and site productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, contractor management, and production optimization.
