Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a National Project Logistics Marine Manager to lead marine operations across Indonesia's project logistics, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will provide expertise on vessel, barge, terminal, and marine safety, coordinating with clients and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
• Class 1 Master Certificate of Competence (Unlimited) required.
• Minimum 10 years marine operations experience in oil & gas, energy, infrastructure or project logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall marine leadership for national project logistics activities, ensuring vessel, terminal, and marine operations are executed safely and efficiently.
• Lead vessel assurance, berthing, terminal handling, and marine interface activities, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Oversee project vessel and barge operations, coordinating marine activities to deliver complex cargo safely and on schedule.
• Provide oversight of vessel positioning, mooring, and marine operations with consistent standards.
• Lead marine emergency preparedness and response, including oil spill prevention and response plans.
• Ensure marine operations comply with STCW, ISM Code, and international regulations.
• Act as senior marine contact for clients, authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement across sites.
