Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Marine Coordinator to manage and oversee marine operations at our project site, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will handle vessel scheduling, berthing, crew changes, and coordination with onshore teams and regulators.

Fluency in English, STCW/ISM knowledge, and at least 5 years in marine ops in oil & gas are required; LNG terminal or marine construction experience is a plus. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or equivalent.
• Added Advantage: Class 1 Master Certificate of Competence (Unlimited).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marine operations in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience in LNG terminal project operations or marine construction is a plus.
• OPITO BOSIET and K3 MIGAS Supervisor-Level Certificate (preferred).
• Deep understanding of STCW, ISM, and international marine regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee marine operations at the project site.
• Ensure safety and compliance with maritime laws and regulations.
• Coordinate vessel scheduling, berthing, mooring, and crew changes.
• Liaise with client, vessel crews, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive risk management and incident prevention.
• Prepare and maintain operation reports and documentation.
