Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a seasoned Project Logistics Contract Manager in Jakarta to align contract scope with client commitments and ensure legal compliance. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience: 8–10 years in EPC or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Language: Advanced English proficiency.
• Location: Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Negotiation and communication: strong skills in negotiating complex agreements and stakeholder management.
• Analytical thinking and risk management: ability to assess risks and financial implications.

Responsibilities

• Contract execution management: oversee execution of project contracts.
• Drafting & negotiation: review and refine contract documents and terms with clients and partners.
• Compliance & risk management: ensure contracts comply with laws, policies and standards.

The Project Logistics Contract Manager aligns the scope of work with formal agreements between Kuehne + Nagel, clients, and sub-vendors. Acting as a critical legal and commercial liaison, this role identifies gaps between client commitments and operational execution while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

How you create impact

• Contract Execution Management: Overseeing execution of contract of Tangguh UCC Project.
• Drafting & Negotiation: Reviewing and refining contract documents, as well as negotiating terms with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards, and conducting risk analyses.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitoring the ongoing compliance of all parties with the contractual obligations and ensuring all terms are adhered to.
• Record Keeping: Establishing and maintaining a structured and easily accessible system for all contract-related documents and records.
• Implementing a project contracting methodology and execution: establish and implement project change order and variation order protocols, tracking and record keeping

What we would like you to bring

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in EPC, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Language: Advanced English proficiency (both written and conversational) is required.
• Location: Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
• Legal and Business Acumen: A strong understanding of contracts, legal requirements, and the O&G EPC construction project environment.
• Negotiation and Communication: Excellent skills in negotiating complex agreements and communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze risks, evaluate proposals, and understand the financial and legal implications of contracts.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously and to maintain accurate records.
• Managing Contract Execution: Overseeing contract implementation and ensuring that all parties fulfill their responsibilities.
• Negotiating Terms: Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to reach fair and beneficial contract terms.
• Ensuring Compliance: Keeping contracts in line with legal, financial, and safety regulations to avoid risks.
• Constructions Risk Management: Identifying and resolving possible contract conflicts before they escal ate.
• Financial Oversight: Playing a part in effective constructions budget management, by overseeing payment schedules, and cost variances to avoid financial discrepancies.
• Dispute Resolution: Handling contract-related problems and negotiating fair settlements.
• Financial Acumen: must understand project costs, payment timelines, and financial risks in order keep contracts under budget.
