Job summary

Mekari, Indonesia's leading SaaS company, seeks an Industrial Relations professional to manage employee relations, ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, and support dispute resolution.

You will develop, review, and implement IR policies and documentation, coordinate with Disnaker and other authorities, and maintain confidential case records with accuracy. The role requires 2–4 years of IR/ER experience and a related bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, Management, or related
• 2–4 years in Industrial Relations or Employee Relations
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations
• Experience handling grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, and disputes
• Familiarity with PP and PKB documents
• Experience coordinating with Disnaker or government authorities preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential matters with judgment and risk awareness

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial and employee relations matters in line with regulations
• Support dispute resolution and maintain positive relationships between employees and management
• Develop, review, and implement IR policies, procedures, and documentation
• Coordinate with Disnaker and other authorities as required
• Provide IR advice to HR and management on risks and policy updates
• Monitor regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly
• Maintain confidential records of IR cases and prepare reports and analysis

Job Description:

Responsible for managing industrial and employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Indonesian employment regulations, supporting dispute resolution, and maintaining positive relationships between employees, management, and worker representatives.

• Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and workplace disputes.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop, review, and implement industrial relations policies, procedures, and employment-related documentation.
• Support the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of Company Regulations (PP) and Collective Labor Agreements (PKB).
• Handle industrial dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, and other appropriate processes.
• Coordinate Dinas Ketenagakerjaan and other relevant government authorities when required.
• Provide IR advice and recommendations to HR and management on employee relations matters and potential risks.
• Monitor changes in employment regulations and assess their impact on company policies and practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of industrial relations cases and prepare relevant reports and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, HR, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.
• Experience handling employee grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, and industrial disputes.
• Familiarity with Company Regulations (PP), Collective Labor Agreements (PKB), and employment agreements.
• Experience coordinating with Disnaker or other government authorities is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong judgment, risk awareness, and ability to handle confidential matters.
