Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as an ERP Developer or Customization Specialist on the iDempiere platform.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with sales, production, inventory, procurement and accounting workflows.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT with GPA 3.00 or higher.
• Proficient in Java, OSGi, plugin creation, and iDempiere configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and deploy new features and plugins for changing business processes.

Senior iDempiere ERP Developer and Customization Specialist

We are a long-established manufacturer in Indonesia. To optimize and enhance our ERP systems, we are looking for a Senior iDempiere ERP Developer and Customization Specialist with the in-depth experience and technical expertise to execute business deliverables aligned with company strategies.

About the role

As part of the management team, you will be responsible for the continuous development, customization, and ongoing maintenance of our upgraded iDempiere ERP system. You must secure company data and deliver advanced technical support to all internal users. You are required to establish and display good teamwork, personal integrity, professional discretion, and strong leadership in accordance with company values.

Scope of Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and deploy new features and plugins to support changing business processes.

Maintain and optimize past system upgrades to ensure they remain compatible and stable.

Configure iDempiere modules and the Application Dictionary to align with manufacturing workflows.

Conduct regular system setup, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and secure database backups.

Identify operational gaps in existing iDempiere processes and build custom solutions to fix them.

Provide advanced technical support for daily ERP operations and resolve complex system bugs.

Conduct user acceptance testing, deliver user training sessions, and create technical documentation.

Monitor database security and maintain strict confidentiality of all company records and data.

Organize and maintain all IT documentation in accordance with our ISO management system.

General Requirements

To obtain this role, you must be able to demonstrate substantial experience in optimizing, developing, and enhancing ERP iDempiere systems within a complex manufacturing environment.

Additionally, you must possess the following:

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Working Experience:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an ERP Developer or Customization Specialist specifically on the iDempiere platform. Must have direct experience in a manufacturing industry with deep knowledge in the business processes of sales, production, inventory management, procurement, and accounting workflows.

Technical Skills:

Mastery of Java programming, OSGi architecture, plugin creation, and iDempiere core configuration. Advanced skills in PostgreSQL database design and SQL query optimization. Strong familiarity with Git version control and Unix or Linux server environments.

Soft Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership and analytical thinking, project management, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and non-technical teams.

Personal Competencies:

Result and detail-oriented with a sharp focus on continuous system improvement.

Languages:

Proficiency in English both spoken and written.

Other Knowledge:

Familiarity with Supply Chain Management, CRM frameworks, and ISO compliance standards.
