Job summary

FORMULATRIX in Indonesia is seeking an Application Engineer to own our internal ERP systems (warehouse, sales, support, compliance) in Salatiga. You will build features, ensure security, and deliver scalable software to support fast-growing operations.

Responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining databases, creating user interfaces, and documenting work. The role requires a degree in CS/IT, at least 2 years in software development, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in software development and 1 year in ERP development or business process automation.
• Familiarity with inventory/warehouse or internal reporting tools is a plus.
• Proficient in OO programming languages (C# or Java) and databases.
• Strong English communication and ability to work onsite in Salatiga, Central Java.

About the Role

We are looking for an engineer who’s excited to take ownership of our internal business systems (ERP). While our robots handle the science, this internal ERP system handles the lifeblood of the company, such as warehouse management, sales tracking, customer support management, as well as critical government compliance (Bonded Zone/Free Tax Area reporting). Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience in software development. We also welcome high school graduates or self-taught developers who can demonstrate strong logical thinking and software development expertise.


• At least 2 years experience in software development, software delivery, post-implementation and 1 year in ERP development or business process automation or internal operations software.


• Familiarity with the business processes is a plus (like inventory systems, warehouse, point-of-sale, bonded-zone/Kawasan Berikat, or internal reporting tools).


• Demonstrate good experience in any Object-Oriented Programming language (C# or Java).


• Demonstrate good skillset in database related things (Normalization, Query Analyzer and Profiler).


• Experience with AngularJS, JINT and NodeJS is a plus.


• Proactive, highly motivated, and a strong team player with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary.


• Good command of English (written and oral) to collaborate with the team and document your work.


• Applicant must be willing to work onsite in Salatiga, Central Java.
