Job summary

Johnson Controls in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for HVAC to drive sales of innovative HVAC solutions to new and existing customers. Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pump, cooling tower, contractor, elevator.
• Experience selling products to contractors, consultants, or company owners, and in handling projects.
• Knowledge of Building HVAC, VRF would be preferred.
• Experience in Building industry would be preferred.
• Basic understanding of SAP operations will be advantageous.
• Personal qualities: ambition, good understanding of projects, and good relationship with contractor, consultant, or company's owner.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of HVAC solutions to new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into opportunities and meet targets.
• Prepare and issue tenders and proposals; lead negotiation and bidding to achieve optimum profit.
• Assist with payment collection and maintain good customer credit profile.
• Provide monthly reporting on secured orders and revenue attainment.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor competitor activities and identify sales opportunities.
• Independently develop and follow up projects to provide customer solutions.
