Job summary

PT Kartika Sari Indonesia in Bandung, West Java, seeks a Senior HRBP to provide strategic HR counsel to key business stakeholders on a full-time basis.

You will align HR strategy with business objectives, drive workforce planning, talent development and change management across the organisation, and partner with leaders to improve engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional HR experience in a senior strategic role.
• Experience in large/complex organisations, ideally Retail & Consumer products or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR strategy, OD, change management, and talent management practices.
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders and provide trusted HR counsel.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to articulate HR concepts clearly.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) to join our team in Bandung, West Java on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that sits at the heart of our people function, providing high-quality HR counsel and support to key business stakeholders. As Senior HRBP, you will be instrumental in aligning our human resources strategy with broader business objectives, ensuring that our organisation has the talent, capability, and culture necessary to achieve its goals. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on organisational performance and employee engagement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders and operational teams to understand business strategy, challenges, and opportunities, providing proactive HR counsel and solutions
• Design and implement people strategies that support business growth, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, and succession planning
• Lead and manage change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and employee engagement throughout periods of organisational change
• Provide strategic guidance on performance management, employee relations, and organisational development matters
• Support the identification, development, and retention of key talent within assigned business areas
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver learning and development programmes that build capability and support career progression
• Monitor employee engagement and workplace culture, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance the employee experience
• Provide coaching and mentoring to HR team members and business partners to build HR capability across the organisation

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of professional HR experience, with substantial time spent in a Human Resources Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
• Demonstrated experience working within a large or complex organisation, ideally within the Retail & Consumer Products sector or similar fast-paced business environment
• Strong understanding of HR strategy, organisational development, change management, and talent management practices
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with senior business stakeholders and provide trusted, commercially-focused HR counsel
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate HR concepts clearly to both HR professionals and non-HR leaders
• Experience in workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
• Knowledge of Indonesian employment law and labour regulations is essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use data and insights to inform HR strategy
• Demonstrated experience in driving change management and leading transformation initiatives
• A collaborative approach to working, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and levels within the organisation
