Job summary

Mataram Consultancy in Semarang, Central Java, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR across two garment plants with about 2,500 workers. You will run HR processes, Industrial Relations, and ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law while driving a compliant, stable, and productive workforce.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field, 8–10 years of HR leadership experience, and proven ability to manage large, multi-location teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, Law, Management or related field.
• 8–10 years HR experience, including senior leadership role.
• Experience managing large, multi-location workforce (1,000–2,500+).
• Strong Industrial Relations experience and knowledge of Indonesian labour law.
• Experience in apparel/manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR across two manufacturing plants and ~2,500 workers.
• Manage Industrial Relations, including unions and bipartite negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law and statutory obligations.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, performance management, and employee administration.
• Lead manpower planning and workforce allocation to support production needs.
• Manage discipline, grievances, attendance and engagement, and develop HR team.
