Job summary

Leica Geosystems Indonesia, part of Hexagon AB, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across Indonesia in land surveying and geospatial solutions.

You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with customers, distributors and partners, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to tailor approaches to local needs. Willingness to travel 40–60% domestically and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• An advanced degree in Business Management or an MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or project management within the geospatial, construction, or relevant technology industries.
• Strong understanding of land surveying solutions, mapping, geospatial technology, and surveying equipment.
• Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners.
• Strong knowledge of the Indonesian market, especially within construction, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
• Solid Analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Proven Managerial capability in leading teams, managing projects, and aligning resources to achieve targets.
• Professional proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia, with regional travel estimated at 40–60%, as well as occasional international travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of business growth strategies to expand Leica Geosystems’ market presence in Indonesia.
• Design and implement business development plans to introduce and grow the adoption of Leica Geosystems’ products and solutions.
• Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities across the geospatial, construction, mining, and land surveying sectors.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers and partners to achieve revenue and profit margin targets.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to strengthen the company’s competitive position and recommend strategic actions.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to tailor market approaches based on local customer needs.
• Provide regular reports to management on business development progress, market opportunities, and sales performance.
• Develop strategic partnerships and networks to expand product distribution and business reach in the local market.
